Scott began the month having some BIG fun with his guitar slingin’ pals STEVE MILLER, BILLY F GIBBONS and JOE SATRIANI (just to name a few). The details of this event are shrouded in mystery (hhhmmm...) but the music was there and VERY loud, even though we have to be quiet about it now (shhhh . . . )

The one and only RON NAGLE (yes, THE DUROCS) began a series of recordings – some old songs, some new songs – all songs written with Scott. Pre-production chores were handled by the great JOHN BLAKELEY making this a group of old friends working together again after a l-o-n-g time off. JOEL SELVIN is writing a much anticipated book on Nagle that will be an art book as well as a historical/futuristic view into his music (complete with a new CD of work with Scott). Too cool.

The month ends with a bang. Scott and Tom leave the comforts of TikiTown to meet with composer MARK NORTHCROSS at Fantasy Studios to record another segment of the ongoing opera project they have been working on for the past three years. The orchestra and voices were powerful and passionate as usual, but there is nothing usual about Mark’s compositions. Atonal yet melodic, his music is DEEP.
