January was perfect for Scott- lots of vacation time and nothing but geniuses in the work place. RON NAGLE was front and center at TikiTown and that means fun and the best music one could ever dream of. Amazing.

The month was capped off with an incredible event, the final performance (ever) of Pet Sounds by our pal BRIAN WILSON and his incredible band (featuring the great AL JARDINE) at the Paramount Theater in Oakland, CA. During a break, Scott was asked by Al to leave his seat next to BOZ SCAGGS and join them onstage to sing. No rehearsal . . . just get up there . . .

In Scott's words: “I was quite moved and honored to be chirping those songs with those guys there after all these years. I really didn't need rehearsal - I have all those parts branded in my brain! I just did my best job channeling brother CARL WILSON - I closed my eyes and tried sing like an angel! When I looked over it was like a dream, I was sharing a mic with Al and seeing Brian next in line, ya know just as Carl had on a thousand gigs before. It was a most memorable night. And it sounded sooooo good . . .”
